yip we have a chap in our club that has turbo'd his 1.6 escudo and I think he used 2 head gaskets to decompress it a little.. from what I have heard goes real well and hasn't had too many problems.. I could ask him how he did it..?

Yes, an easy engine to turbo.

what does it need? just a manifold, fuel pump, computer, injectors? How is the best way to lower compression? Double head gaskets? different pistons? also what would you do about an airflow meter?

Just a few questions if any body has time to answer.

cheers

in my experiance if you use a turbo on the smaller side and run a modest boost,ie standard you should be ok with having to do anything else(injectors, head gasket). Esp if vehcile is a thirsty one. A higher pressure fuel pump helps alot,as does and intercooler.
Have done a few cars in my boy racer days and found this works but you have to be conservitve.

Turbo still for sale?

Is there a manifold that bolts up or is it a custom job.

What is required for the computer?
