without measurement cant be accurate but id say that's a fair price if you asked someone to make one up,id be charging similar with steel,lights bits and bobs then labour on top
1990 surf 350 chevy jacked up and currently under construction again

labour costs around $500-$600 a day and you still have to buy the steel and paint it :mrgreen:

hmm ok i just thought it would be a good option for my surf i want to put some spot lights on the top . any other suggestions on ways to do it ?
will post a picture of the roof racks i have on at the moment on monday

be aware that it will probably affect your top speed and fuel economy.

I had one on my safari- it went much better without it!

the lights and locking down brackets alone would count for half of what he is asking, at 500 that is a very good price as long as dimensionally it will fit your gutters
not sure if its adjustable for width??
