WTB: Urgently trying to find a 32RH auto 3sp wrangler box

Post by adimw2 »

I'm a Wellingtonian and have a 02 Wrangler 4.0 with a 32RH box that has blown up (wish I'd just put a breather in!). Do you know of anyone wrecking a wrangler with a 32RH?

Applications
Year.........Engine........Model
'XX-'XX.....4.0L I-6.....XJ Cherokee
'92-'95......4.0L I-6.....YJ Wrangler
'97-'02.......4.0L I-6....TJ Wrangler

thanks yeti, I've enquired about his 3sp. good spotting on the auction, don't know how I missed it. as for the breathers, yes, I WISH I'd installed them earlier and they'll certainly be going in the next box.

Spot on pal. Only drove it two more times, and only on the road.

I dont know where the OP got the info on the 32rh being in a
Cherokee.
As far as autos behind the I6's that came into NZ go:
AW4 was used in 1987 - Cherokee (XJ variant and the Comanche, not that theres too many of them here)
42RE was in the Grands from 92-98 (?)
32RH was in the YJ and TJ Wranglers from 92-

Other transmissions were used in the diesel variants, and the 5.2L and 5.9L V8s in the US. For a brief period Peugot boxes were used in Cherokees 87-89 -ish, but no 32RH
