2lt front pully

can anyone please tell me how to get the front crank pully off a 2lt engine? is the bolt lefthand thread?

Pulley or bolt? If you mean the bolt the use a Breaker bar onto the bolt, rest the bar against the chassis rail and a quick flick of the key, without starting the motor will free the bolt.
If you mean the pulley, try wriggling it firmly side to side with a few taps with a deablow hammer or similar, being careful not to damage the pulley. Or use a puller if really tight

cheers just needed some extra leverage. another question on the head gasket how do you tell what grade thickness it is? cheers

For my 1KZTE when I did the head you either put the same thickness one that came off it was identified with some marks on a tab on the gasket or you measured the height and the manual gave you what gasket to get.

Down load a manual for a 2lt heaps are on the net for free.

should also have notches out of one side/corner 1 2 or 3
