was wondering what is the max you could run in a 3l 2.8 turbo diesel surf and what is standard boost

there is no standard boost, they are not factory turbo'ed.

with out intercooler generally 12psi if your using the 2.4 turbo. with good intercooling as much as you like. a few people around running 30psi pr more.
its the fueling that kills them.

r u serioes 30 psi so mine doesnt make any boost atm and i would like to put it on ten pound

yep.With out pump mods you'd would only really wanna go around the 15 -20psi. But as tweake said anything in double figure psi you want to run a decent intercooler to get the best outa it and to make motor stay reliable.
Remember when uping the fuel you don't want smoke when on boost.

Chuck a boost gauge on it see what its makIng now im guessing 8ish, with out intercooler i wouldnt go above 10 with a decent intercooler i wouldnt go above 12-13 psi anymore an your looking at broken cranks blowing ring etc, factory. Pump with adjusting fuel will handle that to

cheers for the info everyone but i will be going 11 pound max i recon and i thought it doesnt run any boost thats what the first comment said
