ALRIGT! had a bit of interest in my intercooler from a few people on here so thout i would post some pictures and details.

first off i removed the ac radiator to make room for the intercooler as i didnt want to cut any holes in the body work for the piping and this was the only possible place i could see for it ( good excuse to turn the ac into onboard air wich so far works amazingly surprised how fast it fills the 20l tank much faster then any 2.5hp household compressor) any way once i had the intercooler mounted it was time to plumb it up unforntunaty this was the most expensive part of the project that i had not thought of when considering the intercooler. all the plumbing was prety straid forward i cut the intake hose from the tubo and hose clamped strait onto the oval intake tube (hope this joiner stays on and doesnt leak..) only other issue was the tight passage between the battery box but with a little trimming and modification to the battery clamp was a perfect fit.

pipes are 2" from tubo to intercooler and 2.5 from intercooler to the intake.
intercooler cost $100 dollars and pipe and fittings were another $150 alot cheaper then the 90 series $800 second had alternative (but at the cost of the ac witch i am starting to miss  )
have taken vehicle for a small drive down the road but will get back with results after a proper drive

parts:

intercooler and alloy to mount
*2.5" 180 alloy bend
*2.5" 90 alloy bend
*2.5" alloy strait
*3"-2" silicone reducer
*2" 90 silicone bend
*2" strait alloy tube
*3"-2.5" 90 silicone bend
*3x 2.5" silicone joiners
*2.5-2.75 silicone reducer (for the inlet)
*intercooler hose from a mitsubishi delica (braided hose with bends to get around the steering perfect fit)
*HOSE CLAMPS lots of them!

think thats everything

Great work.....
Looks a bit tight between the engine and battery...
Motor really twists and I can see your battery getting beaten to death.
Use the battery mount for the second batt position closer to the firewall....
And you will have more room for the pipe....
Otherwise looks like a neat and tidy install....

waiting for the water injection kit that should be deliverd any time today :D 33x13.5x16 mudzilla on -24 offset fitting under awesome but prety close to the shock tower like you said but still not rubbing at full flex. no trimming required... but rear breaks need some grinding to get the 16" rims to fit i thought the standard alloys ones were 15s and seemed to clear fine thought 16 would have had heaps of room. airnt you running 15 steelies? any issues?

But its very close like a few mm from the caliper...Front and rear brakes....
Mine a ROH rims.... some others may have slightly different centers....

Have to say Danger Dan's Prado goes like the proverbial shit off a shovel!
And his frontmount works with the Aircon radiator still in place.

One of my next improvements, once the mulla starts flowing again....
