WTB an Old Man Emu Suspension kit for a LN130 Surf ?

Post by GNTONC »

g'day,
I am looking for an Old Man Emu Suspension kit for my 1995 LN130 Surf. which 'pharmacy' is selling these kits here in NZ ? or would it be 'easier' to import a kit from OZ or USA ?

thanks for your help...

if you want to buy OME NZ new you'll only get it through an ARB dealer, you probably want to make sure you've got the $$$ and know what you'll be paying if you havent already done so before you look at going down that road, you can get a full OME kit ex US for around a grand $NZ or a bit more but you've still got to get it freighted out here and stick gst and shit on it when it gets here. OME make some shit hot suspension componants but not all their stuff is shit hot IMO, I think their front 40 series cruiser springs are the worst set of springs I've ever had in a cruiser unlike my 70 series OME front springs that flex up awesome so its worth doing a bit of googling and research first if you already havent before you only commit to OME without considering other products

thank's for your help 'Sadam', I have imported shit stuff before and know what I have to do to keep costs down. I have also done my homework and did google shit alot and think that the OME kit is shit hot for what I am after. I just haven't found a source here in NZ and going thru a ARB dealer didn't come to mind.

cheers...

Be way cheaper & also jsut as good buying the bit indiviually.
That ironman kit is sooooo over priced.
Cant see the point of replacing the torsion bars as you cant increase the amount of wheel travel as thats fixed by the physical position if the upper & lower bump stops.
Where in NZ are you located?
