need pictures of 78 series prado front sway bar

hi guys im needing some help as i failed cert - to much body roll

so can someone please put up some pictures of there front sway bar on there 78 series prado, where it mounts to chassis, a parallel shot looking down chassis so can see both the chassis and axle mounts for sway bar

or even better there sway bar on a 130 surf with a prado solid axle

Sorry I dont have any pix but........ What you need is a 78 Prado swaybar. The prados have bolt on chassis mounts bolted onto the inside of the chassis. You need these too. Simply weld the Prado bolt on mounts to the Surf chassis once you have the swaybar bolted to the diff. Really easy if you've got the parts. The links are easily available in a multitude of lengths.
If you cant get your hands on the chassis mounts then you should be able to fab some up easy as :wink:

years ago mine went to the scrap metal merchant. you should hit up the 4wd shops as they might have them in their scrap bins...

this ain't in my surf yet but is my 78 series diff i picked up,you can see sway bar and the links used.i never got chassis mounts but will be making some up easy enough.hope its somewhat helpfull

The passenger side cap mount may be a smaller size to the drivers side
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

Chassis mounts for front swaybar

I didn't get a chance to refit the swaybar for a photo but this is the bar. all mounts are standard D shaped bushes with metal D shaped brackets bolted over top
