Toyota A343E Wiring Diagram
Toyota A343E Wiring Diagram
I'm looking at buying a universal automatic transmission computer ( http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.c ... ontrol.php ) for my 1UZFE powered 1993 Toyota Surf. Just wondering whether anyone had access to a decent wiring diagram for this transmission?
Re: Toyota A343E Wiring Diagram
Personally those ones are over priced..
Here is a unit which is specifically tailored to our auto's the A340 variants
You can do everything the one you state can do...
Also has wiring instructions for the Toyota auto...
http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastick.html
But basically its three wires. and sometimes 4 if uses a solenoid for line pressure.
Search the forum....I did an bit on manualising the auto and it has a bit on the wiring...

Re: Toyota A343E Wiring Diagram
Is there any differences in the shifting/wiring between the A343E and the A340E? I finally have a PCS TCM2000 on the way. Also is there anyone else out there that has used one of these on the same transmission?
Re: Toyota A343E Wiring Diagram
No they both shift the same way.....
However some have 3 solenoids and some have 4....
The forth one replaces the cable operated line pressure valve with a solenoid..
I don't know of any people who have used that unit in NZ...
Most have just manualized it.
When you do it, you will need a TPS if it doesn't already have one and also tap into the speed sensor.
Post up what you do....
