I think the V6 Escudo's have bigger brake calipers which means you can't fit 15" rims. :(

^ Correct. I fitted 245/75/16 (30.5") on mine without a body lift. Had to do lots of guard work and space out the bump stops to control the rubbing.

Thanks Churchill, after hearing your input i think ill do a 2 or 3 inch body lift and 265/70R15 tyres. How did you find your 4x4 low gearing on you V6 with 30.5" tyres??? :?: :?: Cheers

I wasn't the greatest with the 4.88 ratio diffs but came back to almost normal with a change to 5.12 diffs.

Low range is to high in these vehicles. Standard they are around 1.8-1.9:1, I would like to try a kit that drops it down to 2.5-3.0:1. There are 4.14:1 kits but I feel they are a little too low.

Year same here i would like to get a low range kit and run 32" or even 35" tyres eventurlly, i was thinking this low range kit as it only effects 4x4 low gearing.

Im still researching around for a good kit plus would like to chat with others that have done this to gat there opinions.
Have you seen any kits like this around Churchill??? :D

Only affecting low range isn't really a good thing, your gearing will suck onroad and fuel consumption would increase a fair bit. :(

Would 225/75r16 fit the 95 escudo. Tried searching the forum for an answer but no deal.

I got them on mine. Only a very slight rub, but with LWB springs in (its a SWB) no more rubbing.
