wj jeep driveshaft

has anyone lifted a wj and had to deal with the front cv drive shaft?

did you alter you drive shaft or just replace the cv? looking at rusty driv shaft conversion at
www.rustysoffroad.com. would prefer a local solution ,without the expence of having a one off made.

You'll be surprised how much more cost effective it is to get one off parts like that from US for Jeeps, compared to local sources. Another option is to have a chat with Tom Woods in US for driveshafts. I got my rear shaft from him for the TJ.

Once it is lifted, even with a 2" BB you will keep breaking DS offroad. I've got Tom Wood's custom made for the 6.5" lift, would highly recommend it. Came with both yokes too
Other option is if you keep the lift lower to get factory cardan ones from the states, even used one will do - good luck finding them at the wreckers here

i had to replace my front driveshaft to get a wof as my cv at the transfercase was buggered and that was just with a 4" lift
its back to stock height now tho

dam vtnz wants it certed lol

fixed. got a brand new cv off trade me for $85. boot on old had ripped and
turned the greese to clay.

same cv, x-z-wj. not sure bout other end of shaft.
