On Board Air Conversion of a TJ's Factory A/C System

This is the best write up I have seen for this on a Jeep TJ using factory compressor. One day when the a/c is dead, it might be an option:

Well worth it.

Didn't read the whole article but have done a similar install in mine. Although mine didn't come with A/C the compressor I bought bolted up to the factory mount at the top (in place of idler).

Did mine slightly different in that I didn't install an oiler as I modified the internals and filled with grease.
Used a 160PSI pressure switch with air tank underneath and air couplings at each end of the truck.
Also have a regulated fitting under the bonnet for using air tools (at around 100PSI), etc.
