Driver's Door window electric motor - 80 Series

Post by Eddie Auckland »

Okay, so mine has karked it which is apparently a common issue. I have two questions:
1: Where can I get anther motor from which will not require re-mortgaging the house or...
2: Is it possible to retrofit a manual winder assembly? I actually quite like this option as electric windows and I are not mates. Are the doors the same for a manual winder setup? Any ideas?

Cheers, Eddie

Pick a part has similar year, large Toyota cars which are very similar. ( except for the plug). you may also need to get one from the opposite side of the vehicle. When you remove the motor from the pick a part car cut the wiring harness so you can make an adapter.

Thanks for that. Will try them tomorrow. Think the Camry ones are a match, similar year should work. I can easily solder the wiring (two whole wires) into the old plug!
