VX Air Controller unit

Any CHCH boys have a spare aircon controller unit. i have a little fualt with the clutch to start the a/c pump.
i have tested the clutch with a positive lead and it engages. next is to trace the cable backwards.
manual shows an A/C CUT Relay this will be my next check point.
Anyone knows were it hides.

are u sure that is the problem,If your gas pressure gets low it wont cut in

yea just been reading that.
so ive just tryed jumping the clutch on with a battery and then see if there is any cold air
nope so i think i may have a little leak.
Owell i tryed, time to take truck into a A/C Company

If it turns out to be the control unit, I guess you mean the nice block in the dash? I have one that works but has two buttons missing.

yep ac has a saftey low pressure switch to protect your compressor if no gas.. chances are you got no gas..shouldnt be a major for someone to pressure test it to find out weather you got a leak...

hey johno have you checked the gas level in the sight glass? maybe out gas.on the right handside beside the radator you will see a filter and a sight glass should see a white liquid in it and it will be pretty full.
