Hi i have a 5L Hilux and I have a slight knock in the engine that I am trying to diagnose. It quietens down after a while so I suspect that its not a bearing noise and so I am leaning towards an injector knocking.
I have a few mates that have other toyotas a 2.8 litre diesel and a 4.2 litre landcruiser. Question is do they all share the same injectors...particularly the 2.8 and the 3litre. I just want to swap them over to see if it will cure the issue.
Hilux injectors interchangable??
