Hey guys im after some advice on what to do with my rear springs/shocks in my ln106 hilux.
I have a 2 inch lift in the rear from Bellamy & East they were nice when i got them and they didnt flex to bad but as soon as i put my 14.6ft boat on the back the shackles would bend backwards and sit on chassis rail.i took springs back and they put an extra load spring in there now it doesnt invert but its bouncy as hell and doesnt flex,im wondering what my options are. im thinking at the moment to take out the extra load spring they added and using air shocks to firm up ride when towing boat,or using ironman load plus helper spring system.
cheers troy

anti tramp rod fitted to top of diff. set up right it will keep the diff from torque loading and twisting the springs.
if its just a load/weight problem then its rock and hard place situation, soft springs with load full compression. hard springs with no load, bouncy...
possible poly air bags may help with the softer springs but they will limit off road articulation.

I run the Ironman Load plus, and despite the negative comments I got from so called experts initially, they have been great!
I often tow well over 2t and the truck weighs 2.5t everyday and I still have factory springs (3 year old vehicle) and its only just starting to look like its dropped 15mm..

Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..
