And when you put one in the front out of a prado rear are standard hilux front axles fine?. whacked it in without measuring oops.

smurf can measure the axles in prado diff for you my locker came out of if no one comes forward with the answer for you. but ales been bolted back in an empty housing so accuracy be difficult.
Thanks people Clive

Ok there is only one difference between the two... And thats the shape of the mounting flange for the diff...
As the e locker axle has a cut out for the locking ring and some studs are in different places...
The drive axles fit just fine so must be the same..
How do I know? Cause I swapped in an E locker into a std axle assy.
Plenty of info about retro fitting an E locker into std axle on the net...

I think he(the OP) may be referring specifically to the axle shafts.

Yes thats what I thought too.... Axle shafts appear the same... Well they fitted fine when I modded mine... That was 7 years ago.

I did a whole rear end swap as I picked one up cheap so unbolted the radius arms and drive shaft and swapped in the whole diff. Over the years i have changed the axle sub assemblies (hub, axle, brake ect) between the locker one and open ones for different reasons. Never noticed any differences or had any issues with it.
