Hi, new to this site as I'm getting over not having my truck done . So here goes...
91 manual 2l-Te Prado . I swapped in a 1kz with a mechanical pump, bigger turbo, and top mount . Here's the problems.... The motor I brought was a auto and I'm running the auto loom into my manual 2lte computer. I need to bypass the inhibitor switch, but how..? I've had it running but only by running a wire from the starter to the battery. It goes really good but the factory turbo dash light flickers at 15psi and sort of cuts the power till I back of the gas..? I hate electrical things but hanging to get it sorted. Any help is greatly appreciated.

When I mapped out the Neutral Safety Switch in my KZJ78 this was the result.
To bypass the inhibitor switch look for a plug with this format of pins... And join the two in the middle.

Now the rest of your post doesn't ring right.
If you are using a mechanical pump why are you wiring in the 2LTE ECU... you dont need it... Or perhaps just for glow plugs. But you can put in an aftermarket timer.
The turbo light flickers as if it was on the factory 2LTE it would indicate an over boost situation.
The 1KZTE engine when running its own ECU will boost cut around 14 to 15 psi...
Take a close up photo of the injector pump as I cant see the throttle cable to the manual pump....
I get the suspicion you are running a factory 1KZTE with an ECU....

Hi thanks for your reply. I solely brought this motor as it had custom build mechanical pump and really went well. I built all the brackets and got a longer excelorator cable. I'm 30 years old and this is my hunting bus . I'm a fabricator and do all the work myself ,not a young idiot talking it up. but hate the wiring side. I'm diff still running my 2lte computer as thought I might need it for lights, windows, heater etc. ??? I brought a actual inhibitor switch tonight and have tried wiring to the kz engine loom hoping I could manual turn the switch around to nuetral.. But no luck. I'm looking for that plug you were talking about now , cheers Andrew

The day I pulled the old 2.4 out. Dec 19 2014, I lost interest this year as I'm building a jet boat. But now am eager to get my truck wiring sorted.

Sweet couldn't see cables in the first post. No offence. lol.
The ECU doesn't run the lights, water temp, oil pressure etc etc.,. Not sure if the 2LTE ran a separate Glow timer...
I have gone the mech pump a few years back in my 1KZTE... Now a just a 1KZT.
What part of the country are you in?
The only thing I can think of is if the auto loom is not integrated properly and interrupt the start like its supposed by adding the switch may prove useless. You may need to run a new wire from the ignition start position to the starter solenoid....Or find the old wires used when it was a 2LTE and plug it back on the starter....
