the lsd unit can be removed from .. say a 4.1 ratio diff into a 4.88 cant it ?
because it only effects the spiders not the crown and pinion

correct me if im wrong please

You will need to measure the thickness of the ring gear, if its the same , then it will change over.
There is a thinkness differance at a certain ring gear ratio. not quite sure where that changover is.

Sorry to dig up old shit but, is this the same for 4.3 to 4.5?
I just got a 4.3 cheap and thought id do the swap thing.

Also can anyone link me to a thread on diff rebuilds?
I cant find one.
