I have my Hilux in at 4WD Upgrades having a Holden V6 fitted at the moment. The Mark's kit from Aussie covers everything. They have done a great job, though haven't got it back yet due to running rich at idle.

looking into doing the same thing on my ute,
http://www.marks4wd.com/products/engine-trans-conversions/toyota/hilux/hilux-index.html
I think they are a tad expensive...but you can get everything off them to do the conversion.
Im thinking of going dellows (ex oz)
$950 AU (from memory) think it included bell housing, clutch realease bearing, clutch fork and some other bits. The mechanic next to our wholesaler is looking into it for me and he reckons, 5-6k pretty much drivein - drive out, and that might of been freshing up the gear box a lil

Correct me if I am wrong people, but wouldn't he be better off to get the stronger W56 gearbox first? as it bolts to the existing transfer case and is apparantly 50% stronger than the G52.
holden 3.8 to W56 gearbox adaptor
instead of holden 3.8 to G52 gearbox adaptor
Just thought that being a torquey engine and possibly running big tyres would be a killer for that gearbox.
hope that helps

W56 and G52 bellhousing is identical, so either will fit the Dellows or Marks kits.
The G52 tranfer case is shifted differently than the W56 though
You can use the W56 transfer case on either box, but the G52 transfer case has to be modified to work on a W56 box.
Best idea is to use a W56 box and trans case complete, or a G52 box and trans case complete
The W56 is stronger overall (don't agree with 50% tho

), but they do blow reverse easily (as I have found out the hard way).....I'm now back to running a G52 with twin w56 trans cases linked together with a Marlin crawler, had to make a small cover for the G52 where the trans lever used to come out, but that's real easy

If you go for the marks kit make sure that the engine adapter has parallel faces. I know of 4 kits (1 being mine) that were not.

Not sure what you mean about the G numbers but the 5 speed deisel gear bag is stonger than the petrol gear bags. The 4 speed petrol ones go pop real easy
