Toyota 3litre diesel

Post by curly12 »

Just looking to replace a couple of delivery vans at the monent with Hiace vans ( currently Merc's which are shit ). They are 3litre diesel s with auto's. Having had no experience with these drivetrains, was wanting to know of any problems. I have had 3b, 2b, 2.8and 2.4t toyotas (got to love the fj40!!)past and found them okay ( apart from the usual 2.4t problems).

no real dramas to be had there mate,if you change all the oils including diff & trans & coolant when you get them and then do engine oil every 5000, oil & filter every 10000,diff & trans oil every 30000,coolant every 2 years, should go for ever!!!
