hey, when i put mine on i found that the pipe that came with mine was too short and i had to buy a new piece, part from that was ok.. the airflow on my surf wasnt as nice to put on as the air tech on my old pajero.

I put an airflow one on mine by myself - i managed to get the snorkel and all the bits from a wreckers where i saw a V6 surf with it on for $150. The air box that I got was modified with a piece of right angle pipe plastic welded to the airbox so that when the hose comes through the inner guard it connects straight into it. Apart from that just be careful marking the hole in the guard before you cut it and silicone all the joins in the air intake system - i used the black ATV silicone not the clear white stuff

sweet as, hard out looking for a good deal at the moment. having the time is the issue. i noticed that the intake hole on the air cleaner assembly is jammed right in the corner behind the headlight and was wondering if i needed to re-mount the air cleaner, or do the kits allow for this

also if anyone can help with where i could get a good deal on a kit(new or second hand)that would be greatly appreciated....cheers guys.

Hey
i gt snorkel on my V6 surf and u jst hav to remove the plastic bit where the air intake is behind the light(one mayb two bolts from memory) and u r left wif a hole in the air intake box which is where u put the bit of hose. like every1 else says use heapz of silicon especially around where u clamp the hose to the moulding of the snorkel inside the guard cose it is a right pain to try and do later lol
