This is a long shot, but can anyone tell me the size of the nuts that are screwed onto the axle houseing inside the hub of a Bj 74 cruiser? I want to get a socket to fit this nut.

If its the freewheeling hub housing you want to take off they should be 12mm nuts

Do you have the manual hubs on at the moment? or are you converting these from those stupid toyota electric ones? if you are then its not a straight swop, you need an adaptor kit and then the manual hubs or what I just did to mine.

If they are those "stupid electric ones" , then I can convert the over to manual for you, no need for the spacer ring kit.
