Also see how the truck performs after manualising the auto....

Had a good day on Patrol...Sort of....
Engine developed a miss....and was leaking fuel from and injector....
Bit of bush maint and doesn't leak now and no miss... Must have not seated fuel line properly after pump change and it decided to leak on this trip...(done 500k's already)
Got to test out the PTO properly and broke a shear pin on one winch.
Only 3mm bolt....Will go up a size....
OPPs should have been 4mm
Had to break out the electric...
Monstr put me thru a few hazards hes thinking of using on the Easter event to see if it is doable using low mount winches and LWB trucks...
So I was a crash test dummy !
Gunna be a great event !
Had to bail early my 6 year old was unwell and we ended up spending a few hours in hospital last night getting him checked over..
Worried about meningitis... But all clear must be a viral thing....
Thanks Warren / Steve for your help with recoveries and guiding....
Even when I almost put her on its side....
Sorry no photo's too busy having fun...
Now to get her clean.....Again....

Sorry brain fade its 4mm started with factory size

Yeah it is... Was starting small as its my project mid mount winch and shear pin is in the drive shaft and not at the winch or pto.
So was testing it ....hehehehhe Done some heavy ish pulls before it broke....
But I hear what you are saying.....Note I am using High Tensile bolts not std soft ones.

Enjoyable session out at Woodhill. Seemed like there was hardly anybody there! Very dry, not much mud to be had, but it did make some of the impossible trails do-able.

Recovered a 'cruiser after it went askew reversing back down the slope.

Also, managed to find some mud to wallow in

Cheers man. We're very much looking forward to heading over and relaxing eh :!: :!: :!:

That's good, no need for warm weather gear means more crap we can bring back... Wonder if I could find a suitcase that would fit a snorkel and a set of 31's

New on these forums, have just bought a 1996 terrano about a month ago(first 4x4) and decided to head off to the beach this weekend.

Found some guys out there 4 wheel driving and they offered to show me and my mates some few tracks. Had an absolute blast and really enjoyed myself and keen to do more!

Did get stuck later in the arvo was a blast trying to get the thing out :D
Luckily i brought along a shovel and some planks we got it out after half hour of trying.

Really want to hit up woodhill sometime soon with a few mates 8)
