87 Hilux D-Cab
i was lucky enough to pick it up after already having a vr comidore 3.8v6 convertion, 31s, and a snorcle.
unfortuanatly day after i bought it i fryed the electrics in the transmition in a river so ive converted it from a vr electronic trans to a vn hydrolic one.
only mod ive done to engine is givin it a coat of mud.
after bellying out a few times and constantly geting stuck with diffs botoming on ruts and bull bars catching on banks i decided to throw a few mods at it.
Ditched the bullbar that stuck a mile out in front stuffing up my approch angle.
Fitted 50mm maxi trac lift springs.
Fitted 50mm body lift.
Through on some 33x12.5x15 maxis bighorn tyres and some white spoke rims that i had powder coated in gloss black.
now im broke.... but on the to do list eventualy is winch and new bullbar, some sliders for the sides (and steps to make it easyer to get in), put a new higher bar at the back, and some lockers and im sure the list will go on and on.
when it was standard as i bought it but minus the canopoy when it was sitting without a transmition.
