helping a mate sort his truck with a lift, i assume the balljoint flip is a simple case of undoing the bolts and refitting the balljoint underneath the wishbone??
torsion bars, do you just wind the big nut in a clockwise direction?? and how many times?
to gain a 2'' lift on the rear how much do you increase the shackles by, i understand its not 2'' as its a pivot action?? any help apreciated.. thanks

From memory 4" longer shackles for 2" lift, someone may be able to confirm this.

Re: balljoint flip and winding up torsion bars MU
I just lifted my Bighorn and to get the 65mm of lift in the front was 10 turns of the bolt that adjust the torison bars, the ball joint flip then helped to correct the alignment so the camber was back within a respectable visual range (still handled like crap after). Also remimber to discontect the front sway bar or you can end up with interesting handing as the sway bar will componsate for any difference from one side to another.

Yeah when I did my Bighorn I did 3" longer shackles which gave me 1.5" extra lift and then wound up the torsion bars until the vehicle was level front to back.
Yes the balljoint flip is as you describe, simply flip over and do bolts back up.
Another good thing to do is an oil catch can, when I did this (used removed freon filter) I got 30mm for about every 1000km as it exited the intercooler before it headed into the air intake.
I removed by torsion bar at front but it still articulated like crap (read= no articulation) so prob leave it on so at least better onroad?
