Terrano injector pump.

Could someone tell me if the potentiometer on top of the injector pump on my TD27T is only for the EGR or not. I am going to remove all the ERG components and that will go if its not needed.

don't know for that exact vechile but often if its mechanical pump then the tps is only for egr. however they are also often used for autos. i usually just get rid of egr gear and leave the sensors alone.

likewise.when i removed egr i left all the sensors and that potentiometer thingy in place....whats it matter?weight reduction of like 100grams????

i doubt it has anything else to do,other than egr crap,as i installed a turbo td27 into my navara,and that potetio-thigny wasnt reconnected and ute runs perfectly fine.
