I was in Repco in Chch a few weeks back and needed some antifreeze. I went to the "coolant" section, grabbed a 4L bottle of concentrate, paid and was on my way.
Today I poured about 2L of it into the radiator and noticed a reference to a special "antifreeze/antiboil" product.
On reading the label closely I find the bottle of green concentrate I have is not antifreeze. It's just a green coolant additive.

Why does repco in Chch (where it freezes most winters) sell stuff that does a poor imitation of antifreeze? I wonder if anyone has filled their system up with this, thought they were protected and had something freeze and split open!
So if anyone wants half a bottle of anti-corrosion additive, let me know.
