Fuel consumption.

Bought a 413 a few weeks back knowing that the carbi needed to be fixd and before i got it fixd was chewing through the gas, now i got it back it seems to be better but still not that good, what sort of milage would u expect to get from a tank? it is a 1600cc carbi motor

do you know what motor is in it? what size tyres on it? stock gearing? what sorta driving? any smoke?
Around town and bit of motorway my old 8v 1600 injected stock vitara did about 10-12k/litre from memory..

Someone once said they got better fuel economy from a 4age 1600 in their 413 than the stock 1300 :wink:

when i had the 1300 in my 413 i found it drank fuel until i rebuilt the carby, and i did run a carbed 1600
for a while(untill i farked it) but didnt notice much difference??

its a 1600 motor from a vitara thats all i know. it wasw in truck when i got it. standard gearbox, tires i thnk are 28s nt sure tho everything else standard

my scudo eats petrol for a little motor ,it is the 16v efi motor,offroad only though.

I've got a 16v injected in my zuk and it can do 10l/100km on the open road. Around town it drinks the stuff though.

Vaughn a friend of mine (Matt D) tells me you don't have an accelerator just a switch either on (full throttle) or off :lol:
