16 Valve swap into an 8 valve vitara

Okay I have stood back and congratulated myself on the purchase and getting the engine in and of course getting it safely parked in the drive.

Now for the tricky stuff. I am unsure of how to proceed from here. I have a new water pump to fit (easy) and it needs an exhause system (easy also - except for oxy sensor), but the wiring and actually getting it running is what bothers me the most. I am adequate when it comes to the mechanical stuff but not with the electrikery stuff.

Can anyone out there who has done this swap give me any tips on what extra parts I will need, what bits I can reuse and what the hell I should be doing in some sort of order.

In theory it seemed so simple but when you are faced with the bits sitting there and no idea as to how to proceed... well you get what I mean. I want to do as much of this myself so I can learn as I go not to mention spend the money I save on goodies.
