cc rating for a 3L turbo diesel surf engine.

Does anyone know what the cc rating for the 1994 3L turbo diesel surfs are?

I checked the listings on trademe and many claim it to be 3000CC but a few claim it to be 2982cc. I checked the information I got when I brought the the hand written parts have 3000cc but computer print out has it at 2982cc.

I trend towards the 2982cc figure because it s a spefic number but many peope round it up to 3000cc to make it look more powerful.

I need the information for my insurance form.

yeah it is 2982 cc, but easier too say 3.0L. You will find next too no engines are exactly the size as model says ie a 1300cc suzuki is something like 1278cc or something.
18cc difference is not a huge amount....

In reality I do not really care if its 3000 or 2982.... But thought there is a chance that the insurance company premium formula might charge more for a cc rating over 3000. So would be to good to list is at 2982.

As far as I know the Toyota 3L engine is only rated at 2.8L . It is the 5L that is rated at 3.0L.

Thats a 1KZ Rex, which is a 3L, but not a 3L...
