Would the 3k drive them , sure , the axles will make the lj a bit heavier but its the size of the tyres you bolt on the outside that could slow it down some what .
Also what year diffs are you looking at ? The factory coiled diffs or diffs from a rugger/blizard ? The factory coiled out of a prado are ok as they have a standard diff head in them ( but not the diffs you are talking about I suspect ) . The blizard axles are a different story . They have a really crap ratio of 3.3:1 , I think an lj would be around 4.1:1 . Also there are bugger all aftermarket parts for them , ie no ratio changes etc and I believe lockers are hard , if not impossible , to get .

I assume you have considered the hassles with the lj (if factory ) outputs being in the centre and the blizard are off set .

If you only plan on running a 3k then maybe the blizard diffs are a bit over the top , maybe a set of 413 or samurai diffs would be a suitable upgrade , a bit lighter , can get different ratios and lockers etc .

If you are after some width and a bit of strength and need centre diffs try this , run a vitara rear diff ( wider that a toyota , stronger than an lj and set up for coils ) . Get two 413 front diffs and run two long sides , ie cut off one short side housing and weld on the other long side housing . I think this would come out very close to the width of the vitara housing .

Have fun

i have the diffs out of the bizzard here, the only thing i thought that they would be stronger and had the 5 stud pattern on that bolts up to the lj pattern checked the ratio last night it seems to be about 4.1 i think with a lsd in it . the lj 50 is only used as a mud pugger ,trailer every where

I was going to fit a set to my diesel powered samurai as it needed gearing up , don't hear that too often eh . But never got around to it and sold it . It was fast of the line , beaten many an fxgt  but it tapped out at about 120kph , just ran out of revs .

The killer is the 3.3:1 ratio . From 4.1 to 3.3 is like 25% gearing change . like going from a 30 inch tyre to a 37 inch tyre , would expect that would be too much for a 3k .

Guess thats why they are so cheap .

That all depends on your budget and what you want to do .
Stay with the 3k .
- how many axles have you broken ? Is it worth swapping ? Then look at a set of 413/samurai axles , wider stronger and only the offset to sort out .

Going bigger motor ? Do you have the blizard diffs ? - scrub that , just read you have . Then I would look around for a low ratio 413 transfer case , called a rock hopper or 4.16 etc . Put this in as it will sort out the offset and the extra reduction in the t/case will be offset by the higher diffs in the blizard axles . ~$500 if you get a second hand one .

Width and strength , go the vitara rear and fab up a wide 413 front . Bit of work but really wide on a lj , measure first :D . Not sure on cost of vitara rears , can pick them up from pick a part cheap enough then need two 413 fronts , can keep the short side cvs as spares .

Next I would say a new engine and gearbox combo , pretty much anything will give you the offset for toyota axles , strong and lockers etc .

My pick , the vitara / 413 axle combo but thats just because I like doing something different . Best practily since you have the axles , get a 413 low ratio t/case and install the lot .

Arn't Stock LJ50 Diffs 4.9 Ratio? and LJ80 Diffs 4.1

Must put your gearing right out of whack. Resulting in a weaker driveline.

I have a mate on the look out for LJ50 Diffs to re-gear his 410 for 31" tires
LR110 ..... LJ50 project
