safari spring sag

Post by mudhunt »

I am running 3" lift dobinson springs in my gq swb. I noticed after a few drives it leaned over quite bad to passengers side. I replaced the back passenger spring and i thought that fixed it but its really obvious again. I dont have a spare mounted on the back atm which i know could do a little but its very pronounced looks like an inch or more out of level. Anything else that can cause it. WHo uses " springs and what brand.?

All I've ever used are OME ones, current set has been used and abused for around 3 years now and my truck is still within 5mm of what it was when they were first put in.

Get some spring spacers to even them up, or try swapping them from left to right. Common problem, I had it with my OME, and now that I have changed to TJM not there anymore.

Is it the same side the old coils sagged on? If it is, I'd give everything a check to see if its something else causing it
