Rallywoods this Sunday(7 Sept)
Mronign All!!!
Due to Aotea being closed by the council because of the wet conditions we have moved this event to Rallywoods
Just to confirm that we will be meeting at Rallywoods this Sunday at 10am.
The plan is to have a play for the day and then head up to Nizsafari in the afternoon and have a bbq dinner/drink beer/trash his house/steal the washing machine etc................
Tony may correct me if I am wrong
We are heading on the Saturday evening (4pm) to set up for the day on Sunday.
Sunday will consist of a series of events between 4wd's.
There will be tug-of-war, blind 4wding, hill climb, speed section and a dead vehicle recovery challange.
We will be leaving from the Green Hutt at 10am sharp.
Rallywoods trip fees apply $10 per truck per day and $5 overnight

this may be a regular occurence.................
I was informed last night that the diggers may have moved onto Aotea to finally prepare the subdivision.
I may be wrong, but its inevitable that it was gonna happen one day soon.

No, Henry said the the Regional Council has requseted that it be closed until the ground dries out. They are concerned about the amount of run-off that is happening now the gorse has been cleared.
They will review it in a months time after everything dries out and hope we are getting less rain.
Will we see you tomorrow night Skid???
On another note, most of the activities will be Shiney friendly

Hey NizSafari .... since the BBQ was at your place originally .... does this mean you will be head chef up there on Sat Night?
The usual head chef will be busy trying out the new tah's and suspension on his POS Nissan

Re: Rallywoods this Sunday(7 Sept)
Was open for me but that was just after 10am.
Great day, cheers to organisers and dudes there with the shovels etc, you guys deserve a beer
Had no probs with the cruiser (apart from breaking the wing mirror off on the *insert name here* obstical/track area) until we stopped at the hutt river on the way home to let the dog have a run around. Got back to find it wouldn't start! After stuffing around I found that the fuel pump wasn't going. Here I am thinking...great, fck knows what pump it is (Toyota? Holden? Random?).
Then found that the EFI fuse had blown so replaced that and started first pop. Waited for our tow/rescue to come because I couldn't get hold of him on cell to say don't worry anymore. He finally called to say he couldn't find us, so said "don't worry", hung up and went to start...nothing. FCK.
Replaced fuse with a higher amp one, got it home. Cleaned of couple kg's of mud. Went to start/move and fuse had gone again! Fck! Here's me thinking its dodgey wiring or something equally pain-in-the-arse-y but narrowed it down to the Oil Pressure Switch is faulty. The fckn thing is spewing oil into the electrical plug....fckn holden...should'a stayed japanese
Turns out its a common fault on VN Commodores (always blows fuel pump fuse then leak turns into a fountain out of the plug...wtf...seriously W.T.F. Holden?). So I'll give the local Holden Dealer a call and replace it.
End rant
