Yoricks G

Post by yorick »

New wheels (8x15) finally arrived from Elite wheels, Buckshots fitted and new springs in the back. Bye bye to the skinny standard ones and now it looks the part. Looks like a quick run to Ngaroma or Thommos this weekend to see how they go.

Looks like I'll need bigger flares tho'!! :D

That would require power, something 3 litre 5 cyl naturally aspirated diesel is not over-endowed with!

Turbo is the next part of the project, Although I've got a Merc M103 petrol 3 litre sitting on the floor in the workshop which I'm considering seriously. The extra 100 horsepower would be useful.

It's the bloody electrics that scare me. Diesels = Fuel +air and go! Simple.

Computers on the M103 and all that wire makes me shudder. :(
