Hello from england

Post by gazza »

Hi all just thought i would let you know whats going on over here. One thing though is me and sally are dealing with immigration, But is not going to be sorted quickly. Sally has put the house up for sale and i,m hopeing she will come over here and we will work some and tour europe. Then all being well come back there. So as i,d like to keep this thread open we need to not comment on immigration matters.

Anyway have been looking at 4x4 clubs ect over here not got to far yet as seem to be spending most of my time sorting out stuff from NZ. Plus i need to find employment. There is a couple of localish clubs which have websites which i have been reading up on and may check them out. So i have been looking at buying a 4x4. But for no apparent reason I have purchased myself a 2 seater sports car. :!: :?: :!:

Bit of an impulse buy and my brother inlaw has said i,ve bought a gay hairdressers car

I liked it till i got a quote for insurance( you have to have insurance here) And is the equivilent of over $1000. Have shopped around and got it a bit cheaper. Need to build up some no claims bonus.

Have been looking on ebay (trademe) and theres quite a few 4x4,s for sale and quite cheap compared to there. Will get xmas out the way and hopefully buy a cruiser. have only found 1 bj40 forsale everything else is newer.(Not a single fj40) This 89 cruiser was about $2000 your money with brand spanking new mud tyres (33,s)
and has new mot (wof) and tax (rego)

gudday gazza

I can always look after that 40 of yours for ya

you do realise though, that it will have to be driven to circulate fluids etc etc etc

and theres every possibility that a new motor may have to installed

Theres plenty of expensive accomodation . i,m lucky my sisters got a spare room and i get family rates. Would not like to just turn up here and try and find somewhere. Its not good coming here from NZ when its 3to1 exchange rate. But its great coming back ya feel rich

Just checked and it says its a 1990 with 2.5 diesel engine. also says in write up power locks i,m presuming it means central locking, Would be a damn cheap truck if it had lockers. Auction has finished now so cant find out.

Disclaimer While sending some goodies from the uk is a good idea i feel that I must warn you that some any and all may have a slight problem with the final leg of the delivery due to the large rat like thing lurking at Wellington tow bars. While every effort will be made to assure safe delivery no gaurantee can be expressed or implied
