interestin method in getting out of the sand a while back i saw a peice on u tube where a 2wd tractor was bogged to the axle. the driver got a log that was bout 6 to 8 inch dia and a couple of foot longer than the diamater of the wheel. he then chained it thru the rim so the log was about centered to the wheel a sticking out a little on either side. once booth wheels were done he then procedded to drive the tractor out of the bog. the log picked the tractor up as well as moving the machine forward. this idea worked mint. if i can refind the clip i will post it up

got stuck in a tractor a number of years ago the boss wrapped a rope betweenthe dual tyres and winched me out have seen simular advertised in nz or aussie recently
if in a fix could work

that sure is a good way to get a tractor out, cant see any floors with that one.
