oops!

Post by mike »

Today going up the worsley spur track in Christchurch I got the old girl into a nice balanced cross axil. The front left was about 500mm off the ground and the back right just touching. Girlfriend was freaking out that we were going to run out of time to do the shopping  Anyway I told her to drive and reverse up while I move the weight over on to the front left tyre so we could drive out. Well the landy moved backwards as the wheel came down from me standing on the front bumper :D BUT as I jumped off my baggy pants caught the tow hook and I dissapeared from view as I was dragged along on the ground for a couple of meters! 8O I'm glad the GF didnt decide to give its some revs

Lucky you weren't trying to do the same thing from the back bumper... I don't think the old landie has that much ground clearance!
