You are talking about useless figures for 4 wheeling .Torque at low revs is what counts.

they turbo really nicely, get up to 1500hp in the US on these. so anything is possible, just how much cash
I should imagine a lazy 300 would be very easy to get, prolly 10 psi and reliable as hell
Have a look here to see whats possible

if you put the right sized turbo on it for what yoru wanting to do you can not only increase peak t but also bring it down the rev range :D

300 hp @ 2000 rpm give you a whopping 787 Pound Foot
300 hp @ 1000 rpm 1575 Pount Foot

though to get those sorts of figgures id be going for a blower with about 50 psi :D

That is why we turboed my motor.
Out of the factory peak torque was at 4000rpm (400nm) but it has 320nm (80% at 2000rpm. Our goal was to get peak torque but 3000 rpm without sacrificing any top end.
I've got a way oversized turbo (but it is a dual ball bearing turbo) and I have boost at 2000rpm with full boost (and peak torque) at 3000rpm.
The other advantage is a wee bit more top end as well!!!!!!

The other coment I have, is low end engine torque is all that is important then every Suzuki out there would be a complete POS off road!
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.
