Piecing together a list of parts needed for my 4" lift. I have read that 80 series landcruiser shocks are good in the front of the GQ since they are larger and hold more oil etc. Are they an exact 100mm longer than the GQ shocks?
So I'll simply have to space the top cage upwards 100mm and order some +4" longer front 80 series landcruiser shocks and they will fit?

Nope, standard 80 series shocks have 100mm more travel than the standard y60 shocks.

Yeah i just spent the past 2 hours researching the subject. Not as simple as i thought it would be tbh. Surprised that there can be so much variation caused by spring brand.
