Safari:Brake issue

Hi men.My break light comes on and foot pedal stiffens up at low revs/speed.I suspect it is around the vacum pump area.Anyone had this problem?And how did you repair/track it?

Yeah m8, this happend to me. Check the black vacum hose that comes off the vacum pump (the bigger one) mine had a small split in it and was lossing vacum.

Mine did that when the booster Sh#t itself. Definately a vacuum problem though.

is the clutch still ok? as they run off the same vacum

Clutch is good.Will check that hose.Had a look at the alt/vac pump from underneath,seems a little damp with oil.Not leaking in a big way though.Need to have it fixed before next WoF.
