hard to come by dual V belt model from the earlier engines, this was purchased by me a couple of years ago straight out of use as a spare at the time. I high mounted the alternator on my old truck and never had alternator troubles again but it always pays to carry a spare as I was doing plenty of winching. You'd pay well over $100 for one of these at a wreckers now (if you could find one) so I'd like a reasonable offer for it or even better swap for a 1kzte one for my spares kit
Just had a look and only half the sticker remains so unknown The vehicle I took it off was a 2 door 2.8 twin cam early Supra with pop up headlights if that's any help to ya
Some of the earlier internally regulated ones were 180amps so a good replacement/spare if running winch etc. cheers, Ive just been told I don't need any more spare parts...
You won't need a spare for your 1kz tim. In the 4-5 years ive had mine ive cleaned it once after it stopped charging after towing back the LR from sheffield. Never had a prob offroad with it

It's internally regulated so could well be the big amp one

Hi Mike hoping to have the good run with the alternator, starter motor has already been playing up but on the upside....pulled it out today and the contacts were shagged $10.63 and a resurrected starter
Hi Tim, known in the trade as a " Dulux Overhaul " . On another note when can we read a write up on how the New Surf is going and perhaps what good /bad points you have found , also anything you would do different if you where to do the build again, I mean now you are not out in the shed all day and night I am sure you have all the time in the world .
