This test is not all-together true. ARB are saying the axle fails first.
I have had ARBs front and back for 14 years in in that time I have broken 2 Cross shafts and at the moment I have washers packing the side gears because the carrier is flogged out . My friends carrier snapped off at the side gear as well .

Re: ARB locker Test
i would agree with that but if the item is brandnew the axle would probably snap first

Re: ARB locker Test
I am about to replace my ARB rear locker and will get another ARB but the thing I hate the most about ARB in NZ is a lack of service.
Every time I have broken something it is not available and I have had to have it Air freighted from Australia which means I have to wait and it costs me extra money .I don't believe that is good service.
When a I break something on the track I want overnight Service to keep going. At the moment I have to order double to carry my own spares.
