toyota free wheeling hubs

I am trying to sell my manual hubs off my 1987- 70 series cruiser.most dudes want 30 splines but my is 22 splinesWhat year did they change?and is there any one here who is interested in buying them,thanks for infro. :roll: :arrow: :wink:

that doesnt make any sence...

are they off a beam axle disk breaked cruiser? if so they will fit anything that has a beam axle and disc breaks in the toyota family from hilux to landcruisers of all models including the 80 series.

they are 30 spline into the hub, if yours are not then they must be off a non beam axle surf or similar...

edit: as far as im aware anyway :lol:

Correct me if I'm wrong, FJ40s from 1969 to about 1974 had a course spline, 70s all had fine splines

if it has drum front brakes then it is coarse spline, that means right thru to 1980? i think? ive never seen a fine spline drum brake hub.

40's changed to fine spline around 1977. mines a 77 or 76 with fine splines.
course were 10 spline. :D

Hi again,when people talk about spline count ,do they mean the splines on the shaft that is exposed when you remove the free wheeling hub body :oops: :oops: that has the 6 bolts and the little cone spaces,then it is 30,jesus I am a dumb as.I was counting the splines on the outer hub cover as it has 22 splines.Now I can sell it,Thank fk .Cheers :oops: :oops:
