drag link problem

Hi everyone i gave my yn65 hilux a 2 inch spring lift looks bloody good but the problem is went for a wof the other day and he knocked me back because the drag link is hitting the ubolt. the top of the ubolt is flat bit its still hitting. does any one know how to fix this. any feedback would be much appreciated :lol:

The problem is possibly that the J-arm is probably a bit bent. You can try and fit another J-arm (or budget, just try grinding a flat spot under the drag link - CAREFULLY - make sure you don't weaken the threaded portion at all... or you can go the ball-joint and cert method which is the way more preferable option in my book.

The ball-joint method involves having the j-arm end cut off, and a 17mm metric thread machined on... then screwing on a tie-rod from an IFS surf... then you have the j-arm machined to take the toyota TRE taper and bolt it all together. you fit the balljoint through from the top, which makes the drag link sit nice and flat helping with bumpsteer.
