WTD: Welly/Wairapa 8"x8" 3mm sheet to fix rust hole

Hi, looking for a local 8"x8" 3mm to fix a rust hole in the footwell of my 40. Anybody have some offcuts they want to sell?

I am covering the inside my tub with POR15 and Hippoliner and this is the only issue on the inside. Have a couple of bubbly bits on the outside and have some .5mm and 1mm offcuts I will use on them. (just need to borrow or buy a welder now

Sounds fairly heavy (3mm) for a rust repair in the footwell? That 1mm you mentioned sounds like it would do the job. In Wgtn I pick up off-cuts (0.8-1+mm x 1msq) for about $20 from a place down Adelaide Rd (off the basin reserve) - Kia Ora Metal Industries.

3mm is waaaaaaaaaaay to thick. 1mm is heaps.
