URGENT: Skid wants some head.. opps I mean needs a head 1HDT

Well I think he wants both but I'm not sure which one he wants most

actually I think I do

The heads been checked and is cracked, dunno if it was already cracked or whether the hot to cold immersion in the water has cracked it?

He hasnt got a lot of money but hes more than prepared to paint your house or help pour a new driveway or dig some new fencepost holes or something like that

thanks for posting that up for me sadam, thought i'd get the word out early before everyone disappears for the weekend.

Yup as it says, the head is faaarked

before the incident it never got hot or used water etc etc etc, so we can only assume that the hot motor into freezing cold river caused it to crack in a big way


so now on the lookout for a second hand head if anyones got something lying around

I know for around 15 hundy ya can get an after market head intact

i have had a cracked nissan Rb25det head drilled, welded, kilned, refaced and line bored with new valve stem seals lifters for 880 dollars....

after that it went like a cut cat. probably the raised compression from the machining of the face, but still, no issues.

FYI the truck is fixed and going, has been for quite sometime now

and folks like Jerry should know this as they have seen me driving it lots
