Superior Engineering Flex arm

Tonight --
Just installed a Superior Engineering flex arm with OME 80 series LC shocks and radius arm spacer/washers.
Primary reason for installing it was to free up the front articulation so it better matched the rear enabling the truck to stay more level. The 80 series shocks are 30% longer and the extra articulation is noticeable. The truck is much much more stable. No major difference in road manners.
Not cheap - about $ 800 NZ incl freight and GST but money well spent.
Cant wait to put the 35" Simmy's on and really try it out

Nice I have mine sitting in the spare room until I get a new truck. If it's not a Safari, it'll be up for sale soon.

One thing to watch is, make sure the bolts attaching the arm to the diff are tight, otherwise the holes on the diff mount will flog out quite badly. The guys at Superior recommended to weld 4mm plate on either side, as it's common for Safari's to do this, and you don't realise until you have wandering steering and remove the arms.

It's articulation is not actually maxed out in these photos but it shows how the front and rear are more balanced. Definitely more stable and less pitching from side to side.
Raised the shock towers 60mm by cutting and welding in a section and cutting a hole in the body at the top of the shock towers. You can just put in longer bolts and packers but that was not so easy for me as I only have a 25mm body lift. I would prefer to cut my guards rather than go higher.
My indicator ?? - It is a work in progress.
I am cutting the guards up and back, including some of the corners and bonnet before doing some bar work. Unfortunately I have not found the time to do it yet. I broke the original lens and so banged these in until I got sorted. I think they are about $26 each so are a cheap option compared to an original.

I have a 4WD Systems autolocker in the front and that is just magic. The auto has reduction gears in it also.

Forgot to mention
Because I only have a 50mm (2") spring lift, I have not had to put packers in my bump stops to stop spring bind so therefore I am getting full travel.
