Hear alot of bad things. But mine seems to do the trick.

got one, put a lot of stress using it as a winch on a truck stuck in mud, didnt get it out, but it didnt break either

Yea, that happens if you don't hold the handle properly when putting it down.

Got the jack on friday, seems to work great , just remember to hold the handle firmly when lowering
