Full Hydro Steering Parts Questions

Hi,

Just wondering what the approx cost is for the various parts required to put full hydro steer on a hilux axle.
Ram, Orbital, Hoses, Pump costs. Do people just use the std power steering pump or do you need a bigger pump.

get hold of pedro, he was selling the rams and steering units for a while on trade me. most would suggest a high steer set up to begin with too. look on Pirate as there are many how to's on this sort of thing.
i've just ordered my ram to be made, it was cheaper. found a steering unit on trade me. not sure what im gonna use for my pump yet. cos i got to feed 2 rams..

again that will depend on the orbitrol that you get. i dont think mine is.

the orbitals i have are not return to center, but 2-3 turns lock to lock with very little effort it is not much of a difference
